Product description

This “Kabosu Ponzu” is a high-quality seasoning that uses equal amounts of Kabosu juice and soy sauce, seasoned with bonito dashi and kombu dashi. Kabosu is a type of Japanese citrus fruit that is grown in large quantities in Oita Prefecture, located in southern Japan. Oita Prefecture is characterized by its warm climate and fertile soil, supplying the perfect environment for Kabosu cultivation. In Oita Prefecture, there are numerous traditional dishes and specialty products that use Kabosu, and it is deeply rooted in the local food culture. If you compare Kabosu to other citrus fruits, such as lemons, Kabosu has a little sourness and lots of sweetness and, because this product uses only Kabosu juice and does not use brewed vinegar, it's sourness is characteristically mild. Furthermore, it contains Kabosu peel, so you can enjoy the rich flavor and texture of Kabosu. This seasoning is extremely versatile and goes well with any Japanese, Western, or Chinese dishes. Not only can it be used as a dipping sauce for meat dishes, but it can also be used for pasta and salads.

Ingredients Kabosu juice (from Oita Prefecture), soy sauce, high-fructose corn syrup, Kabosu fruit peel, konbu extract, bonito flake extract, table salt
Allergens Wheat / soybean
Volume 300ml
